Johnathan Husted
Hello, my name is John Husted. I currently serve as a graduate assistant with OMS in Wilmore, KY. My primary role is to promote and foster a community centered on cross-cultural missions at Asbury Theological Seminary. This work also includes being involved with the existing OMS community on Asbury University’s campus where OMS is exposing university students to cross-cultural missions.
My wife Savanah and I are proud alumni of Spring Arbor University. I received a degree in pastoral ministry/biblical studies, and my wife graduated with a degree in elementary education/early childhood and reading. I am currently a student at Asbury Theological Seminary, pursuing my M.A. and Th.M. in intercultural studies. My wife is a 1st grade teacher at a school in Nicholasville, KY.
I have experience leading mission/service trips, as well as leading or being a part of copious amounts of Bible studies. I have enjoyed walking alongside people as they journey further into what unique calling the Lord has placed on their life.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside biking, hiking, kayaking, camping, etc. I also enjoy reading and having good conversations with friends. I am passionate about equipping the church to be faithful stewards of God’s mission.
