If this is not proof that God answers prayers, I don’t know what is.

In November 2022, I accepted the position of administrative assistant to the director of Dynamic Women in Missions (DWIM) at the One Mission Society World Headquarters. This is a complete testament of God’s faithfulness to use our history, skills gifts, and even our pain for his glory!

I was introduced to global missions in high school when I took a mission trip with my youth group to Reynosa, Mexico. At 15 years old, I saw the beauty of God’s goodness and grace over people who were in desperate need of it. Since then, I have gone on multiple mission trips and have led mission trips all over the world. I also didn’t know that God would use the 15 years of mentoring and discipling young women to one day set me up to be a disciple-maker with OMS.

After graduating from college, I took a leap of faith and moved to Cape Town, South Africa. I was blessed to have the opportunity to teach life skills to primary school students, love on children in the Dunoon Township, and serve women in several ways around the city. I felt a burden for the people of Africa, and an overwhelming desire to see them experience the love of Jesus. After returning from South Africa, I pursued a master’s degree in trauma and crisis response counseling from Liberty University because I truly felt like God wanted to use my personal story and passion for mentorship to continue making a difference for his kingdom.

God continued placing on my heart a desire to one day be in full-time ministry and to live completely abandoned for him. I am so excited to partner with a group of godly women whose goal is to empower, equip, and train other women around the world. God is using my skills in administration, passion for missions, and education to further the mission of DWIM.

When I am not traveling with my husband Matthew or cuddling with my fur babies Georgia and Roux, I am at a coffee shop reading, watching college sports, cooking a pot of jambalaya, or finding any way to get a suntan.
