Church Multiplication Specialist
One Mission Society has a vision to see church multiplication movements in every country where we serve leading to the making of disciples, development of leaders, and the sending of new church planters and missionaries. In order to accomplish this vision, the Church Multiplication Specialist, working on a Church Multiplication team, will steward the conditions that the Holy Spirit uses to start, expand, and sustain movements of healthy, reproducing communities of faith.
This role is available in Colombia, Ecuador, Ireland, Mexico, and Spain.

Responsibilities:
- Work on a team of national and international church planters to plant new churches.
- Work alongside Church Multiplication Coordinators in furthering the goals of One Mission Society and the national local church.
- Identify and raise up key leaders among the national church and Christian body.
- Cast vision for and research areas for new churches.
- Train laity and leaders in church planting methods and practices.
- Alongside Church Multiplication Coordinators, strategize with leaders for future church planting opportunities.
- Support new church leaders through coaching and accountability, coming alongside them to help them grow toward the end goal of reproducing new churches.
- Encourage and pray with church leaders.
- Foster a culture of community and team.
- Foster a culture of outreach and multiplication of disciples and churches.
- Seek opportunities to start new fellowships of believers and churches.
- Report required metrics and provide financial reports giving accountability for funds received.
- Support other ministry events as necessary through volunteering and/or support.
- Weave the compassion of Christ into all tasks.
- Develop deep understanding of local culture through language and cross-cultural training.
Skills and Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree in theology or church planting a plus
- Familiarity with church planting and multiplication methods and movements
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to relate well to multiple stakeholders and people from different cultures in order to work as a team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable sharing Christ and talking to people about Jesus
- Ability to cast vision, inspire others and help identify best practice for church planting and multiplication
- Teachability and desire to learn
This is a support based position that involves raising financial support through ministry partners for salary and other expenses.
