Graham and Carol Houghton

Graham and Carol Houghton, missionaries with One Mission Society, have been invited by the Evangelical Fellowship of India to initiate the setting up of a post-graduate program of biblical studies specifically aimed at the 600 million Hindi-speaking people of north India. The need is urgent; for every 10 Christians in India, only 1 is in north India. The plan is to begin with theological studies, but as time goes by, the intention is to also offer degrees in education, management, and law. In all the courses of study, the primary focus will be on historical biblical theology and character formation.

Dr. Graham and Carol served 40 years in India, first as the principal of Madras Bible College and then as the founding principal of SAIACS, the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies.
