Bill and Judy Wilder

Bill and Judy Wilder serve as regional directors for the Mid-South Region of One Mission Society. From their home in Charlotte, North Carolina, they promote the work of One Mission Society with individuals and churches in the region. In addition to scheduling missionary speakers primarily Eastern Europe, they capably share from their own experiences in Russia and other countries.

After being in business for 30 years, God called Bill and Judy to go to Russia in 1994, where they trained Russian school teachers in a Christian morals and ethics curriculum and initiated neighborhood Bible studies. In addition, Bill served as team leader for the city of Ivanovo and a year later served in Moscow as temporary OMS Russia CoMission coordinator.

Upon returning to the United States, Bill and Judy served for three years at OMS World Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana, where Bill served as assistant to the President and Judy worked in Women’s Ministries. For the last 16 years, they have served as regional directors for the Carolinas and Virginia.

For the last 10 years, Bill has worked with Alexander (Sasha) Tsutserov to help raise scholarships for Russian seminary students. The Moscow Evangelical Christian Seminary has grown from 17 students in 1990 to more than 270.

Bill contacts pastors and church leaders and others who may be interested in helping Russian seminary students obtain the training they need to plant churches in the former Soviet Union. It is estimated that Bill and Sasha have spoken more than 400 times and raised more than 250 scholarships for students. Could there be a better investment? Educate a student, and that person will present the Gospel for 30 or 40 years to come.
