Gene and Shelba Pollic

Gene and Shelba Pollic began working as associate staff with Men for Missions in 1995 while living in the South. Gene started serving part-time as the East Central regional director in September 2001 after returning to Indiana, and he began working full-time in January 2002.

The Pollics are members of the East Street Congregational Christian Church in Winchester, Indiana, where they reside. They are originally from Indiana and moved to North Carolina in 1986. God called them back home to Indiana in 1999. Gene worked in the truck-manufacturing business in Indiana and in North Carolina. He worked as a chief engineer and plant manager prior to serving the Lord full time with MFM. Gene and Shelba enjoy traveling and interacting with God’s people.

Bringing a team effort to MFM, both Gene and Shelba have a heart for the lay people of the church, and they serve to further the cause of Jesus Christ and to spread His Gospel to all creatures.

Their field of special interest is Haiti. Gene was the prayer leader for Sector 7 for Operation Saturation when it began in 2000. In 2006, Gene became the prayer champion for all of Haiti under MFM’s worldwide prayer initiative. Both Gene and Shelba are excited to continue serving OMS and MFM in the United States, Haiti, Spain, Russia, Japan and the rest of the world for Jesus Christ. They encourage you to pray for the lost of your community and for all the lost of the world to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior!
