Lois Pannabecker

Lois serves with OMS in several diverse roles through Every Community for Christ (ECC). She directs the ongoing international puppet workshop training that she started with her late husband David, who was a master puppet designer, instructor, and performer. She also leads the initiative to develop worship training that will be used in African villages. And since David’s passing, she’s had the privilege of being on the prayer team for multiple international training events that are a partnership between Dynamic Women in Mission and ECC.

In 2013, Lois and David joined One Mission Society to work in global worship training, communication, and event planning. This was a major step in a progression that began in 2001 with a mission message centered on Psalm 67:1–2 (ESV), “May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations!” Multiple short-term mission trips followed, and Lois served a long tenure in a leadership role with the mission committee of Trinity Evangelical Free Church in South Bend, Indiana.

Supporting others in their ministry callings, helping people find effective ways of working together, and creating memorable life experiences for others are challenges that Lois enjoys. For 20 years, she worked at Bethel College in Indiana and coordinated the gospel team program, the school’s traveling music ensemble program that David directed, and served as alumni director and special-events coordinator. She managed logistics for two large student and alumni choirs that performed in Carnegie Hall and planned three Hawaii tours for the concert choir. Through these years of working in institutional advancement, she gained valuable experience that positively impacts her current work with OMS.

Lois finds great fulfillment in the relationships she enjoys with her three adult married children and five grandchildren. They are Michelle and Jack Campbell, parents of Elijah, Isaiah, and David; Andrew and Janell; and Brandon and Crystal, parents of Kyle and Emma.

Lois is blessed to reside in Hawaii, the place of her upbringing, with people and a culture she dearly loves. And when it’s time to relax, piano playing, reading, spending time with family and friends, or being at the beach are her favorite pastimes.
