Judy Evans works as the administrative assistant for Warren Hardig, who is the international executive director of Men for Missions. She is responsible for keeping Warren’s schedule, handling his correspondence, and preparing reports and all related items for the MFM International Cabinet. She makes arrangements for housing when the Cabinet meetings are in the U.S. and prepares all the materials for the meetings. Judy also helps proof the articles for ACTION magazine, which MFM publishes three times a year, and orders and tracks supplies for MFM.
Judy came to One Mission Society and Men for Missions through her son, Bill, after she retired. He encouraged her to volunteer in the office, assisting him to get materials out to short-term ministry teams and doing some follow-up letters, which she did for more than two years. In 2010, Warren’s administrative assistant moved to Taiwan, where she and her husband serve as OMS missionaries. Judy stepped in to learn the job and assist until the new administrative assistant could raise support. Since that time, God has made it clear that Judy is to stay and raise support for this job that God has called her to do.
Judy is a widow with two grown children, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two granddaughters-in-law, and one grandson-in-law, who serves in the military. She teaches a women’s Bible study, cares for her 92-year-old mother, and loves spending time with the grandchildren. She spent more than 25 years in the accounting field, working at various companies.
