Hannah Kappler

With her overseas and cross-cultural experiences, Hannah has seen the challenges that the church faces around the world, and she desires to use the gifts that God has given her to advance his kingdom. Recognizing the number of young people leaving the church and inaccessibility of leader development in much of the majority world, Hannah seeks to make and equip disciples of Jesus with the tools and skills to be effective disciple-makers and leaders both within their communities and across cultures.

As part of the OMS Global ministry called Renew, Hannah develops and facilitates contextually tailored programs that address these challenges and provide practical training rooted in a cross-cultural approach. With the changing landscape of the world and missions, Hannah serves in a regional role, coming alongside believers and partners throughout the Asia/Pacific region.

Hannah grew up as an OMS missionary kid in South Korea and Central Asia. She holds a BA in linguistics from Gordon College and is currently completing a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. God provided opportunities for her to become involved in missions as an adult, beginning with short-term trips to Azerbaijan, South Africa, and South Korea. As part of the OMS regional team, she has lived in Taiwan and is currently based in South Korea while serving across the region.
