History The Into Africa Project began church planting work in Benin in 2007. Pastor Remy Emongo Lotshaka is the country coordinator. He is married to Tuakelewo Mavengi Maguy, and the couple has seven children. Remy and his wife are originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), but felt called by God to move to Benin to join the Into Africa Project. Remy holds a degree in geography from the University of Kinshasa in the DRC. After being called to the ministry, he was awarded two diplomas in theology, one from All Nations for Christ Bible Institute in Nigeria and the other from Institut Biblique des Assemblées de Dieu in Benin. He has been pastoring since 1994. By September 2008, Remy had four Village Church Planting training centers, with 47 churches planted and a total membership of 2,293.
Statistics We praise God for what He did in Benin in 2010:
