Café 1040

Café 1040 is an organization that was formed to help young people overcome perceived obstacles in getting to the most unreached regions of our world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The organization has a camp in North Africa and East Asia where the students spend three months focusing on language skills and getting a chance to see what God is doing in these areas in Christian missions. When they graduate from the program, their obstacles now seem manageable, and they are ready to partner with mission-sending organizations to serve in these regions. OMS began partnering with Café 1040 in late 2009 and plans to work with their graduates to provide the "next step" in their mission service with some of our established and forming fields in the 10-40 window.
