What We Do
Our Ministry Goal

HOPE61 is committed to educating others and raising awareness about the global injustice of human trafficking. We ask you to join us in combating it through our own unique plan of action.

Raise Awareness and Funds

Table Talks

Gather a small groups of friends in a home setting for a meal, dessert or snack to raise awareness about human trafficking and gender injustice. You will also learn more about HOPE61 and how you can become involved personally and financially.

Church Event or Missions Meeting

We aim to raise awareness about human trafficking and gender injustice, share what HOPE61 is all about, and raise funds for our missionaries and program costs.

Curriculum

We want people of all ages to understand the issues behind human trafficking & gender injustice and what they can do to help stop it.

Children

4 week curriculum for 3-5th grade about slavery, poverty, and compassion. One of the activities you can utilize now is the prayer cube. Download the pattern and instructions to help kids in praying for those enslaved today.

Middle School

2 hour program for 6-8 grade about human trafficking, awareness, and prevention

High School

1 hour program for 9-12 grade about condition, causes of trafficking, and red flags surrounding this issue

“Two 4 Two”

The long-term goal of HOPE61 is to send trainers to work with the local church community within countries where OMS is already ministering and there is a very high percentage of women and girls being trafficked and abused. The focus will bring awareness to a country, teach biblical perspectives on human dignity and equip nationals with methods that address the issues relating to trafficking and slavery.

  • Recruit candidates to go overseas for two years and empower church leaders to work among their own language group on the issue of gender injustice and bring change to their communities.
  • Train our missionaries before they serve overseas through an intensive 3-month cross-training program specific to the country where they will be ministering.
  • Assist in funding missionaries completely.
  • Send two missionaries overseas for two years.

Our ultimate goal is to be a light for Christ and fulfill the scriptural mandate of propagating human respect in the fight against abuse.
