Pray

• Commit to pray for the work of HOPE61.
• Intercede for victims that are enslaved today; that God would bring freedom and complete restoration.
• Remember the traffickers and others involved. Pray for convictions to be made, strongholds to be broken, and repentance to take place.
• Pray for those that work non-stop to combat human trafficking head on. Pray for safety, wisdom, and strength to do their jobs well and rescue many victims.

Educate

The first step to prevent injustices from continuing is to educate yourself and make others aware of what’s going on in the U.S. and around the world.

• Awareness and Fundraising Events - Host an event at your home, church, or in your community.
• Research and learn more about modern-day slavery - Download a list of resources including: books, websites, and movies.

Opportunities to Serve With HOPE61

• Summer Internship - Looking for a ministry to serve with over summer break? Pray about serving with HOPE61 @ OMS Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana. This is an opportunity for you to meet new people, learn more about the issues of injustice, and hopefully be changed! This is an 8-week commitment for college students or recent college grads. Students will go through anti-trafficking training and will be responsible for completing a designated project.
• Linker - Interested in serving overseas with HOPE61 short term? If so, this opportunity might be for you! We are looking for college students who need to fulfill school requirements or anyone who wants to go overseas for anywhere from 2-6 months.
• “Two 4 Two”(see What We Do for more specific information) - Interested in serving God overseas? This could be for you! We are looking for people who want to fulfill God’s call to missions. We are doing this by sending two people overseas for two years. Our first set of missionaries for 2012-2014 are headed to the Philippines! Are you open to God’s leading?
