Michelle Taylor

Michelle Taylor began serving with One Mission Society in December 1995 as part of the CoMission. She continues to serve in the city of Rybinsk as a church worker, which involves cell group ministry and children’s ministry.

More recently, Michelle began a new work on the field ministering to orphans..   Rainbow of Hope (an OMS orphan ministry in Russia) exists to show love, compassion and mercy to Russian orphans. Michelle has a Russian team that works alongside her, and together, they journey weekly to local orphanages conducting craft and English classes.  Michelle’s desire is to set up a transition program for orphan graduates returning to the city and helping them integrate into society.

Michelle is also the BORShT coordinator for the Russia field, which is the short-term program to bring individuals and teams to minister in Russia

Michelle is from Australia and worked in various accounting firms for 11 years before going to Russia. God called her to Russia through a dream in July 1992, so she applied to go to Bible college and spent three years at the Bible College of Victoria in Melbourne, completing a diploma in theology/missiology. She also acquired her TESOL certificate through Cambridge University in 1997.

Michelle’s heart’s desire is to live and serve in Russia for the long-term to see this great nation transformed by the living word of God.  She particularly has a passion to see orphans ministered to and for them to know they have a heavenly Father who loves and adores them.
