Dave and Ann Dedrick went to Mozambique, Africa, as career missionaries with One Mission Society in March 2007. They work with Every Community for Christ, OMS' church multiplication catalyst, focusing on planting churches in the unreached areas of Mozambique. They stand beside the OMS-founded denomination, Igreja Evangélica Palavra Viva (Evangelical Church of the Living Word), helping to build this rapidly growing family of churches and its leaders. Within this church-planting movement are endless opportunities to assist with community health, teaching, discipleship, micro-enterprise development and general humanitarian assistance. Dave and Ann came to OMS out of the business world, not retiring but rather answering a specific call to serve Christ in Mozambique. Ann is a registered nurse, and Dave worked in the nuclear industry. Prior to serving with OMS, they were long-time supporters of OMS missionaries and were active with Men for Missions, OMS' life changing journey. The Dedricks have four daughters: Krista Sepielle (husband Matthew), Sarah Henderson (husband David), Lynsey and Allison Smith (husband Byron).
