Still Sharpening

Men for Missions Executive Director Warren Hardig, inspired by the courage and commitment of ordinary men answering God’s call to obedience, has compiled 10 of their stories in Still Sharpening, his second book of personal narratives.

As Warren often says, "Men for Missions can be hazardous to your ambitions.” Living that, these men have responded, often at costly personal sacrifice but always with great spiritual reward, to the Men for Missions pledge to Do, Go, and Give.

Journey with Warren as he shares about his early days, the men who have led him, and others who joined him along the way.

Hear personal accounts by men from across the United States – Ralph (Texas), Maury (Montana), and Paul (Illinois), to name a few – as well as those from other nations, like Jim (Canada), Bill (Scotland), and Emmanuel (Haiti).

Some of the men depicted in Still Sharpening were ready to enjoy well-deserved retirement when God irresistibly challenged them to start a new life on the mission field. Others knew all along they would serve the Lord as missionaries, but underwent years of preparation for the task.
