Under His Wings

Mary Payseur was born on a small farm near Trinity, North Carolina. Following graduation from college, she felt called of God to go to China as a missionary with One Mission Society. Despite family protests, she started the long journey that would take her to Peking (Beijing) into the maelstrom of World War II and imprisonment in a Japanese POW camp. Following the war, she returned to China only to be forced to flee again. Mary's is a story of simple trust and triumphant faith in the face of the trials of war, disappointments and personal sorrow.
